I am now a Master of Disaster. I went to the Red Cross emergency preparedness training and got a certificate. It was awesome. I learned how to bandage my arm. I learned lemons conduct electricity. I learned to get under a table if there's an earthquake and hold on to the table so I don't get shaken. I learned that we need a first aid kit in every car and a large emergency supply kit in our house. So I took Mommy to the store and showed her everything we need to buy to get ready for an emergency. She feels a lot safer now. I keep practicing on Chili. I bandaged his back legs up so they would feel better. I just wish the band aids I put on his owies would have stuck, his fur doesn't stick to band aids.

Mrs. McNees and Mrs. Petrini are so proud of me. They keep asking if there is a new student in the classroom because they don't even recognize me. I know how to sit still on the carpet, with my hands folded and holding very still so that I can listen to everything they say. I am even a better student than the best student in the classroom. They have been telling Papa and Mommy what a good student I have been. I like to make my teachers happy, they like it too. If only Mrs. Chalas could see me now!
